I recently upgraded my two-way radio with the HYS Tactical Foldable Whip Antenna for my Baofeng UV-82, and I’m really impressed with its performance. This antenna is perfect for anyone who needs better range and reception while keeping things compact and portable. The SMA-Female connector fit securely into my radio, and the installation was a breeze.The foldable design is a game-changer—no more worrying about the antenna getting caught or damaged while stored in my bag. When extended, it gives excellent reception for both VHF and UHF bands (144/430 MHz), significantly improving signal strength and clarity compared to the stock antenna. The flexibility is great and can be folded into a quite small length for just about any placement on any chest rig or plate carrier.

looks and works great! if you get in a scenario you dont wanna use the whip, all youo need to do is unscrew the upper part and youll be left with a secondary stubby antenna so this is basically 2 antennas in one its amazing

Lo compre para usarlo con un anytone d878uv y no se noto gran diferencia con la antena original que trae. Pense que iba a tener mas ganancia y sensibilidad de recepcion, pero no fue asi. Y en transmision fue muy minima la diferencia. Al menos en mi caso, no valio la pena esta antena. Tambien lo probe con un adaptador en un Kenwood thd72 y las pruebas fueron poco satisfactorias. La antena original de ese kenwood tuvo mejor sensibilidad de recepcio y transmision. No la recomiendo, a menos que ya lo hayan probado con sus radios y si les funcione bien.
