This is tough Frisbee, we have a staffie who loves chewing sticks and despite her best efforts, she hasn't damaged this so far. It flies really well and at night with my head torch on, it shows up pretty well, so we can play in the dark too.

I was NOT paid for this review, and I know how valuable an honest review is when deciding on a product you are not very familiar with. I don't want to waste my money either, so be assured this was not solicited. This works really well for my dogs, and I highly recommend it. We have 2 dogs, a lab and a sheepdog. The sheepdog LIVES to chase a frisbee. She is hard on every toy we have, so I have to be very "picky" when I purchase a product for her. She is still a puppy and likes to chew. I mean CHEW on everything for hours. I do not leave this lying around the house for her to "snack" on like a toy. It is her special outside toy, and she knows it. It is the first thing she finds when we step outside. This frisbee is awesome - it flies farther than any other frisbee I have ever had, and she loves that because she can get good distance, exercise, speed, and jumping height with it. It is a little harder plastic, but to fly like it does, it has to be. It is not hard on her mouth though - but I am not jerking it out of her mouth either when she brings it back - if you do that, anything will hurt your dog's mouth and make them bleed. We have a red one, the glow in the dark one, and a blue one, and I am purchasing the lemon lime one next. Yes, she is spoiled. But the award and joy you get when you know your dog is loving a toy and the fun you are having with them is priceless. We keep one in each of the cars for those spontaneous moments on the road. All 3 that we have now are going strong - a few scratches from use, but no punctures, no cuts, no holes, no rips, no major damage a year into it. Well worth your money and your dog (and you) will love it.

I love Jawz Disc nothing else compares. Hyperflite what a fantastic product. My Shepherd currently has 5 of these. She has 2 that are around a year old that have cracks and splits in them but are still functional. She loves to fetch these dig them up from the ground and to fold them over and carry them. She is not easy on them, I do not allow her to use them as chew toys but she does dig at them fold them and mouth them hence the cracks and splits. If I give her a $1 Frisbee she has it shattered in less than 10 minutes we have about 50 of them someone gave to me they make a mess small pieces everywhere they are junk. I also have a red Kong flyer the thing is indestructible it is very very well made but it is heavy and rubbery and my Shepard will drop it or ignore it if the Jaws is out at the same time. I also have a Whamo blue and yellow disc it is ok for rolling on ground and has not ripped or cracked but it flies like cement and has a hard rubber texture my dog wants nothing to do with it unless you roll it on the ground. So if your looking for the perfect "REAL" feel Frisbee my dog and I vote Jawz 100%. It will not last forever if your dog is rough and does not float but for the price the time it does last is defiantly worth it. Chewy is now selling them too. My dog just loves to play with them, carry them around and chomp on them. If your dog has a soft mouth it could maybe last their lifetime. I have many other toys for my dog this and the Jolly ball are her favorites and both fantastic products for dogs that really want to play and want a toy that lasts. I also want to make a note if your dog plays hard their mouth with bleed at times if they play with Jawz sometimes she bites her tongue and sometimes a bur on the disc causes a bleed. If your afraid of this happening I would recommend the Kong instead. My dog and I however likes the feel and the flight of the Jawz hands down over the Kong.

We've tried many, many popular and not so popular 'tough, chew proof' discs. None lasted more than a few hours. So far, this has been chewed for a week and looks new. My Border Collie, Skylar, isn't hyper until she gets a toy she can chase or catch. Then, it is more of a driving passion for the game. After tiring of shredded discs, I limited purchases to Chuck It balls which are indestructible in my experience. I read the great reviews on this one and decided to give it a go. My dog still looks through her toy box for the long departed discs. I fell for the sad puppy eyes trick. From the moment I opened this it seemed my dog fell in love with it having done without so long. She was so excited she grabbed it out of the box and hasn't let it out of her sight. She even sleeps with it by her side. When she wants to play and I'm not fast enough to get out to the yard she will bite it and usually that is where the disc fails. Not this one and she has had plenty of time to inflict damage. This hasn't got a tooth mark on it yet. Slobber, yes......and plenty of it. Now for my side of the game.....this disc sails far and straight! I'm not so sure about the effectiveness of the glow in the dark part. In fact, the one I got barely glows at all. I don't even care because it is tough and in the end that is what makes it worth every penny. I'll buy another just in case this one gets lost. She would be heartbroken so I'll have an extra on hand.
