TL;DR: Only worked for about a year and 3 months, then died.Full story:I had this in my AC drip pan as an additional safeguard to the float switch, for cases when the AC drain line becomes clogged and the drip pan fills up. The idea was that even if the main AC drain line clogs, the pump would handle draining the pan to prevent the float switch in the pan from completely disabling the AC, so the house would stay cool until I could flush the main drain line.This setup worked well for just over a year. When I noticed the pump's clear drain line flowing, I knew it was time to flush the main line.Unfortunately this past weekend, the pump completely died at the same time as the float switch did while the AC main drain line was clogged, and the drain pan overflowed onto my roof's sheet rock.It is not totally this pump's fault my roof became damaged, but I thought I thought I was buying something I could count on for at least 3-4 years.That was not the case with this pump.2 stars because it did at least initially work as intended. -3 for reliability.

This is identical to the low profile condensate pumps from other popular name brands at half the price. it works well and clears the water tank almost immediately when activated. I have it hooked up to a dehumidifier that run almost constantly. No issues so far
