These are good shoes. My daughters wear them with their school uniforms. Some other shoes have smelled after prolonged use, but not these. I think the leather (vs synthetic on other shoes) upper is a big plus.

I’ve been purchasing hush puppies 2 years in a row because of the quality and the navy blue goes with my daughter’s uniform.I tried the medium fit in size 12 this year hoping it work for my daughter, but they did not. I was only able to find the wide width here on Amazon. My daughter has a high instep so the wide sizes are the only ones that fit comfortably for her feet with knit stockings for the Fall and Winter.

Shoes are soft and comfortable and durable. My daughter loves them. She wears them 7-8 hours a day and is quite happy. They replaced another pair that never softened (different brand). What a happy relief to find uniform shoes that she can run and play in and not have discomfort. She’s 7, wears size 1.
