Works great. I'm using it on a remodel project. It makes leveling and getting items plumb, so easy. I've checked the accuracy a few times with my bubble levels and it's always perfect. Good value. A tripod would make using it even easier, but I've been using a pinch-clamp with the included L-bracket/mount.

Dot laser not accurate. On mine it is off 1/2 inch. I noticed it when I was using it on a 9 ft ceiling other than then that it’s good

There are several versions of laser levelers out there. I’ve used many and this one has been indispensable. To really be able to use this, make sure you have a decent tripod that gets really tall.It gives a 360 degree line both vertically and horizontally. It also give a plumb line off the front,a laser point right above and right below for aligning like a plumb bob, but so much easier.I had to create a fixture using three lamps and center it right over the pool table. I didn’t want to cut holes and run extra wires in case the table didn’t last in that room.I was able to use the plumb line feature to determine the center and spacing of the lamps. I used the vertical 360 to align the fixture as close to the midline of the table as the room spacing allowed.I used the horizontal 360 to make sure the lights were at the right height and level with each other.I also used the horizontal 360 to set up 2 library sconces, perfectly level on opposite side of the room.I used both the vertical and horizontal 360 to hang a heavy mirror over the mantle. After a quick calculation and setting up the laser level on the tripod, I easily marked the center of the fireplace and the level of the mirror. It was perfect the first time! Normally there would have been a lot of holes in the wall and a lot of cursing until I got it just right. This was a blessing because the mirror is heavy and awkward and the fireplace was awkward to work around.I’ve used this for many projects and am always super-excited I have it. It makes everything easier!!The battery lasts a long time as well. I used it everyday for 3 weeks before having to charge it.
