The battery arrived nicely packed and included two small screwdrivers. The battery is easy to install, but only after getting the laptop case opened up, which is a bugger. I found a helpful video on youtube. And even then, opening the case is still a bugger. After getting the case open, the battery itself goes in just fine. My laptop is HP model number 17-BY1021CL, but I think a few other models use this battery as well.

My laptop screen was black, but the fan was on so I researched to see if I could save it without having to purchase a new one, a relatively small investment for the battery vs purchasing a new laptop and once it arrived and I installed the battery, like magic, it worked. A huge sigh of relief and I have to thank Shareway. I found that Shareway, at my time of need, offered the best value and quickest delivery speed for my pocket. As for the review of the battery life, a 12-month warranty seems good, so I will give it a 3, but if the battery lasts at least 2 years, that will garner a better battery life rating.

This battery only stays charged for 5 days when not in use. Bought same battery before only lasted 9 months. Nothing works like original battery.
