Ideal for a camera with a small form factor like the Sony FX6. With a shorter plug it keeps things streamlined. The adjustable cable angle means you can have two plugs side by side almost touching with the cables exiting at 45 degrees so that they don't hit the adjoing plug. Good value too with two cables for the same price that some are selling just for one.

Absolutely brilliant design for tight XLR connections. I bought these to connect vocal effects pedals. Pedalboard real estate is extremely valuable when trying to combine the pedals you want, instead of settling for the pedals that will fit & make due with. Only concern I have is durability... they seem sturdy enough to travel in the pedalboard case while connected. Time will tell. But for now, they have way exceeded my expectations & would like to shake the hand of the person who designed these & brought them to market. Outstanding, An XLR connector that takes up about the same space as a 1/4" TS plug!
