Pieces are beautiful. The weight seems perfect for each piece. The felt on the bottom is very decent. Seem to be very professionally made, high quality. Maybe not indestructible but they seem to be solid and I don't foresee any problems with parts falling off or anything like that. The pieces are the most beautiful things I've ever seen. They're simply gorgeous and I love this chess set! I will never go back to Old Mundane plain chess pieces again!I would definitely buy this set again and gift it to a friend!

Didn’t come with a chess board- which I think for the price would’ve been nice - beautiful pieces but nothing to use them on seems sad

Very well detailed sculptures and great color. Can't speak to the durability yet but I noticed that one of the pieces (Pegasus- Knight) had its front feet/hoofs chipped/broken off and the broken piece was not in the box. This means that the units may be very fragile and have to be handled with care. If they fall or handled roughly, you may loose a wing or a shield, depending on the piece.Definitely not for industrial, rigorous, everyday use. More decorative.
