Fake polyester & plastic not leather or linen. This product should be reported & taken down for lying!! It clearly states linen & leather in description! I am allergic to polyester & plastic fabric!!

I wanted a strap to stabilize my uke as I played. I had been slapping on a non-slip pad to the back of my ukulele. I don't know why slipping was such an issue for me but it was. A trip to the music store to put on strap buttons and this strap solved the problem nicely. The material is more jute-like but not uncomfortable. Timely delivery.

This is a nice little uke strap. Come with the nut to screw into the butt end of your uke if needed and a pick (plastic). I’m using it for my heavy banjolele and I had to tie the strap to neck and body to use which is fine but I need to do something else so I can easily remove and replace when I wish. Though it’s good enough. I wish I wouldn’t have chosen the denim, I don’t think it looks very nice in my nice uke but that’s my fault.

This strap came with an extra guitar pick and strap lock button. To install it on the bottom of my ukulele, I used my dremel, a 5/64 size drill bit, and handheld philips head screwdriver. Instead of using the black shoelace it came with, I replaced it with the leather headstock strap I made. The ukulele strap itself is fairly secure - no fraying threads on mine, and the stitches were clean. I don’t think the material is linen as it feels more like a hemp weave. I also haven’t washed it yet, so I’m not sure if the dye will run. The shade is a little darker than it looks in the company photos. Either way, from afar it looks like denim which is exactly what I wanted without having to take the time to repurpose an old pair of jeans. So far, enjoying this ukulele strap!
