Husband said we didn't need these. Proved him wrong when I had them for the second day and he wanted to use them. I let him because it's nice share and rub it in his face that I was right in saying we needed them. I actually have used the smallest one to fix a generator. And was so easy to use,fit was perfect. I was worried about durability but the held up like champs.
Good simple product

The E5 female torx socket bailed me out of a big problem while working on my ‘95 Avalon. I used it on 5 different studs with 5mm star fittings for the EGR while replacing the air intake plenum. Performed flawlessly. For that job alone it’s worth 5 stars. But then there are all the other sockets that I will eventually need. This appears to be a well-made set of home mechanic-grade chrome vanadium sockets with a dull finish (which I prefer to the super polished ones). And the storage rail is the same quality as I’ve used with all my other socket sets for the past 30 years, not a piece of cheap tin as some have written. As many others have mentioned, my set was missing one socket (the E6) and had a 4mm standard hex socket in its place. But for the price ($9.99) and speedy delivery, I have zero complaints–– only praise. I ordered after 10pm Saturday night, and it arrived at my door at 1:38pm Sunday afternoon. Where else can you get that kind of service without leaving your house? I will tell Amazon the E4 was missing. I’m sure they will replace it or send a whole new set. That’s how they treat Prime members––though I’m not sure I will accept it, because I figured out I don’t have a 4mm in my 1/4-inch hex socket set and can use it there.I don’t get these super-critics who complain about the finish, or bash the quality of the tool before they’ve even tried it. I suspect a lot of this is political, to prove what good China-bashers they are. Yes, the country poses a geopolitical threat in Asia. But have you considered that the people who made your tool go to work on a bicycle or public bus, work six or more days a week for one-tenth your salary, and have little personal freedom? Think about that before you cast the first stone. If you really have principled opposition to trade with China, then don’t buy anything at Amazon, Walmart, or anywhere else. You’ll have to give up your SUV or pickup truck too, because half the parts were made in China, wherever it was assembled. And . . . no more Chinese take-out.
