This is a great size, I also use this as an abacus, cause it is magnetic. Liked it so much I ordered another but different pattern tin.

I am revising my review after using this tin for a while. It has some problems but is a good price for what you get. The pans are sturdy as well as the tin.However the pans do not sit neatly in the base and slide around a lot. They do not have a magnetic bottom or any way of attaching them to the box. This makes them impossible for travel. And do not store it upside down! Something that indicated a top vs bottom on the tin would also be great.The box is billed as a pallete and it is more of a storage tin for pans. Which it is good for!I would have purchased a different one had I known but it will do for my needs at the moment.

This is my 5 th on of these. No sharp edges, looks identical to the other 2 brands I have. Price was right. They fit in Jane Davenport & Meeden palette. I use this for story paints not in my normal palette so I can pick & choose a different color while painting aproject, then return it to the Tin. I was buying $ 30 + palettes by Mission some hold 18, 30. No room on my desk to get 4 of those out, so trying something new. Also paint chips cracks & falls out of the wells, so keep the sponge thing to minimize them co-mingling.
