Actually bought these for holiday settings, but I have them around the house and light them in the evenings. Batteries are still holding. The flicker seems very real.

I love these have a remote to turn on and off as well as timer options and even low or bright flame options. They look really nice in my small clear cut glass votive cups. The ivory was really a nice option. I am very happy with the quality and cost.

Moving to e-candles is a good way to enjoy soft glows without the worries of unintended consequences.For small votives or candles at Christmas, in the window or on the mantle, the e-candles are a good idea, but it is a real pain to take each down to turn on-off. So these e-candles are perfect. Set them into little lanterns on the mantle, and push a button. They come on! Another button puts them on an automatic schedule to turn on @ 7:00 and off at 9:00 p.m. each evening. Great e-candles and the batteries are supposed to last a long time. Now, this is a worthy 21st century invention and worth the price.

These little candles are perfect for all the many uses around here. For Christmas they supplemented and highlighted our Nativity display and backlit the angels on their shelves. They now light up our lighthouses and family photo shelves with just enough light to look like candles! Great price for these very nice remote control candles. And the best news was that the remote worked well, too!! Very often not the case. So glad I picked these!

These are beautiful when put in a glass holder. The timer works great and I love to come home in the evening and be greeted by the lovely ambiance. One problem is that it is extremely hard to open them up and exchange batteries. That said once you do get them open, you can just leave the cover off and they are easy to exchange batteries.
