a family of 3 coffee drinkers and im the only one that makes coffee so i bought this. Lasts us 2 days. Which is much better than making 3 standard pots of coffee per day so this saves me lots of time.

This is a wonderful coffee urn except for two items. #1 There are no markers for filling the water inside of the urn to make specific amounts. You have to watch the outside water meter. Which that you can live with. #2 The part they need to change is the component that holds the grinds. It is plastic and over time it warps and your grinds fall into the hot water below, so people get gritty coffee. If it had a steel or aluminum basket, I wouldn't be looking for a new one right now.The carrying handles are wonderful. All in all it makes awesome coffee, but the basket warps with use. Please change the basket.

I ordered this online and received it later than promised (I was supposed to get it on the day I needed it "every Thursday"), then on the day that I needed it the following week I took it out of the box only for it to NOT WORK! I tried different plugs thinking my outlet sporadically stopped working like it Never did, but it still didn't work. I left it plugged in thinking it would come on eventually but it didn't. There is NO on/of switch, as plugging it in is supposed to turn it on.

This is a great coffee urn which is made of Stainless steel which is advertised, a lot of kitchen are not using Aluminum products now because of food contamination.Why would you install a plastic filter basket, which after one use is now warped.It would be a good idea to use SS for all parts i believe .Thanks.

Coffee Urns worked great up until 1 month ago and decided to stop working. The perking light comes on and off now and the 2 will not work.
