Comes with a 1/3 18 inch radius track section, making the curved leg equal to an 18 inch radius section. To add a passing track and siding, simply replace a 9 inch straight section. When replacing an 18 inch radius curved section with an Atlas Snap-Switch, add a 1 inch straight section to the opposite side. All Atlas Code 100 has black ties and nickel silver rail.

I am new to ho scale model RR. I’m making my first scale layout and have mostly Atlas track. I have others that I purchased used and a little more realistic but they have been getting stuck and not switching. So I sticking with Atlas since they are working good. My layout is in my garage so it is accessible to the weather and moisture. I am running dead rail so not to worried about electrical current in the tracks. Atlas tracks seem to be well constructed and a good start for intermediate scale RR, and not as expensive as others.

I started my new layout and needed some automatic Switches. Atlas is a great product and the price was the best I could find. It was shipped and arrived early and in great shape.
