The mount is well made and adjustments hold right where they are set with no plastic to break.Drilled a 13/64" pilot hole about 2" deep followed by a 1/2" hole and 3/4" deep. The small pilot hole allows the threads to catch easily and the 1/2" hole allows the square tube to recess into the tree.Used a 13mm wrench to screw the mount in tight and a 10mm and 11mm wrench to make adjustments at the joint.Very happy with the results.

The adjustment is bad and without pliers it's hard to get it set. Many other mounts are much easier to make adjustments.

To b honest I used these( I bought a few off amazon) as a fluid head.. Just unblot the part that screws into the tree and ull have something like a fluid head.. Some of u probably like this want work its built to stiff. It's made to hold a trail cam in place... Yes ur right but if u take off the lil bar that screws into the tree ull have urself a fluid head... No not a real fluid head but something that works just the same n basically operates the same.... Well u might wonder does this turn smooth enough. Yes just loosen the bolts till its suits u... Some of u might b well how bout the up down or left to right.... Listen all u gotta do is loosen the bolts til it fits u... Put ur cam corder on it n either tighten the bolts til its comfortable for u or loosen it til it's good enough for u. Promise u ull get the same results from this just as u will a fluid head... Think I'm kidding well don't believe me that's u... Everybodys different.. Well I record my hunts n have u checked the price of a fluid head... Yeah there up there so when I came across these I was like hummm wonder how these will work... I looked em up on YouTube there was some reviews on them n from what I seen on people's video that's was given a review on these I noticed they'll do everything a fluid head will do... Some of u will b like how. Well u can loosen the bolts on the side as u can c how this tilts downwards or up. All u gotta do is loosen them tow side bolts n its just like a fluid head.... It works perfect for me. Smooth up n down n turns smooth left to right.. Now I just have a regular cam corder nothing the pros used but it still gets the job done n didn't even come close to what a fluid head would have posted me.. I'll tell u what I'll make a video n post it on YouTube n u tell me what u think. My name is Josh grooms (my pic on youtube will b just a pic of a buck) they'll b several names that pop up when u type the name in but just remember a pic of on deer in the pic and it'll b just a pic on the pic... I'll name the video as "cheap fluid head" let me no what u think.....
