This is somewhat what I expected but am now returning it. I was looking for a towel material so it would be absorbent but didn't find that on Amazon for what I was willing to pay. I settled on this one, knowing it was more of a cheap blanket material. I wouldn't recommend it in place of a towel, but it's nice to put on to keep warm after you dry off but are still damp. The reason I am returning it is that it's shedding EVERYWHERE! We have washed it a few times. It completed covered our bath towels in this fuzz, but worse, every time my daughter wears it in the car, the seatbelt is completely fuzzy and ruins the next passengers clothes with a ton of fuzz/lint. Just know before you buy... or maybe I got a lemon.

Has a funky smell out of the package but nothing like a wash can fix. Keeps my granddaughter warn after night swim practice.

My wife had gotten this to use it with our daughter after her swim class. The towel robe is large for my 4 year old daughter, but the additional room is perfect for my wife to change my daughters clothes after the swim class so no one can really see anything. The material is very soft and she likes to wear it because its warm and toasty. The down side and the only reason why I gave a 4 star rating, is because it really is just not that absorbent and we need another swim towel to dry her after the swim class. So I hope that this is helpful.
