I've had High Sierra bags for 20 plus years. I love them! When I had to replace one there was no question what I would choose. This newer model is exactly the same except it does not have a pocket on the both sides like my old bags. Gives you more room in the main compartment, but I'm not able to separate items as easily. It wasn't too bad when I first used it. Just have to get used to it. These bags wear very well and you can pack everything you need in one.

Semble bien solide dans l'ensemble mais je suis juste déçue qu'il est très difficile à faire tenir en position debout comme une valise. Même si on essaie de super bien calibrer le poids dans le haut du sac et de mettre le maximum à la base, il bascule très facilement. Moins pratique pour un voyage en avion je trouve.

I bought this bad for Ragbrai (a 7 day bike trip across Iowa). I needed something big enough to hold my clothes and camping gear for a week. the first thing that drew me to this bag was the two sections. I was able to fit my tent, air mattress, folding chair and sleeping bag in the bottom section and keep it separate from my clothes. Second thing is it had to have wheels and it had to be sturdy. The bags get tossed around and roughly thrown into and out of semi trucks. I have had High Sierra bags before and found them extremely durable. The wheels were big enough I could roll it comfortable on and off the pavement. Finally, it was lightweight for its size. Since I was limited to 50lbs total weight, I needed a fairly light bag. This was the total package and it held up while I saw plenty of other bags tear under the abuse.

Nice, large bag. I owned one before this one. The only thing with this one; no backpack straps. Other than that, it wheels fine, handle works welll, holds lots.

Honestly this bag is fantastic quality. Very durable, bullet proof material to the feel. We will see how it holds up during travel. The price however is atrocious.
