I needed some small V-blocks for holding some 0.5" connector barrels. These worked quite well for that job.That said, they have zero finish on the blocks, ie, no bluing, no passivation. Nothing. They come packed in grease, which you must remove to use them. At this point, they will start to rust, even in the low-humidity environment of my workplace. So, after use, I packed them in a zip-loc bag with TriFlow oil (the best oil and it stops rust, available on Amazon) until I get some free time to clean them off thoroughly and do a quickie blue-job (see Birchwood Casey "Super Blue" available on Amazon).

Supposed to be a matched pair but there was only 1 block in the box. Returned....This is the replacement for the first one that had only 1 blockDO NOT BUY!

I used these to bent a 1 1/2 inch aluminum rod in my press. There solid also used to mill a flat on some rod. So far so good.
