Función:
Se utiliza para bloquear árboles de levas y cigüeñal en posición al ajustar la sincronización del motor. Incluye la herramienta de bloqueo de bomba diesel EN-51104, se ajusta sobre el piñón y engancha los dientes como un medio para mantener el piñón en posición al quitar o instalar la tuerca de retención.

La herramienta de bloqueo se ajusta al reluctor en un extremo, y se atornilla a la cara de la culata en el otro para mantener el árbol de levas en posición para establecer la sincronización base del motor.

Worst tool ever! Camshaft tool handle is out 6 - 8 degrees! If you like your vehicle don’t buy this garbage

My first timing belt replacement job on a 2.8 liter Duramax turbo diesel, and halfway through it I discovered that the exhaust cam on these engines is 'hidden' and thus cannot be lined up and timed using the gear- only the intake cam gear is accessible with it's gear on the outside. And it's not marked.This tool is keyed to sync with the exhaust cam once the plug is removed, and both cams are internally synced via gears- so the top end of this engine is timed using the exhaust cam. This tool is mandatory to replace the timing belt unless you get lucky and the cams remain motionless on their own.The price is the best you'll find anywhere for a legitimate tool that's correctly designed, the only one cheaper is incorrectly keyed and will leave your cam timing one tooth off.I cannot say enough good things about this product... It helped me out of a bind and the job came out right on the money. Highly recommend.

Worked great to time my 2.8l LWN chevy colorado diesel engine. There was no reviews on this just bought it with high hopes and it worked!!! Ty!
