The only flavoured incense sticks i use now. The Chandan (sandalwood) fragrance is inviting and spreads evenly around the house. Don't invest in inferior sticks as can be toxic to health and give off a lot of harmful fumes.

My prime senses are hearing and smell. Yes, I meditate but don't choose incense to enter that state. My three fav smells are horses, the ocean, fresh mown hay (not grass), and woodsmoke on a winter's night. But you enter another realm of smell senses when you light your first stick of Chandan. This incense is the very quickened essence of Indian incense rather than some enhanced flavour that makes you wrinkle your nose or coo with pleasure. You have never smelled anything like it. It embodies mystery, harmony, love, peace, wholeness, lift, grace and gravitas. I bought it first time about ten years ago at an Indian shop in New York. I love rosemary, lavender, and a few other herbs and oils, but nothing even comes close to Chandan. The lovely Indian woman in a sari, just smiled, lowered her eyes, as she handed me my purchase. "You will never buy another incense." And, I never have.
