This is a great purchase, it is exactly what I needed for my mixer. Easy install, easy to use. Very stable platform.

Purchased the lift to replace a previous model which did not include the self-close mechanism. This one was identical except for the self-close feature, which I love. Installation was simple given I had the previous unit to compare. Not cheap, but a quality mechanism, worth the money.

I love this mixer storage shelf. I have several counter appliances and I had rather store them instead of having them all out on my counters. My Kitchenaid mixer was too heavy to take in and out of my cabinets each time I use it, so this was a perfect solution. The shelf/rack is very easy to lift and the mixer stays on this shelf while using. When you let it down the weight of the mixer makes the shelf lower on its own slowly.It is NOT easy to install if your cabinet has a drawer at the top. It took several adjustments and moving the hardware rails around to finally keep from hitting or where it would properly lock. We’ve bought many other cabinet shelves and this one was by far the hardest to install. No regrets, the final product was well worth the installation difficulties.
