The tie arrived in a giftable box, it is exactly as pictured the flamingo's pop but also sit nicely amid the dark blue of the tie. The quality of the tie is on par with the current cost and there were no loose seems or threads. A sharp looking tie, which will be worn in the humorous spirit it was created for.

I ordered this HAWSON Novelty Skull Mens Ties Skinny Funny Ties for Men 58'' Length 2.5'' Width Hand Made Neck Tie for my teenage son, who wears a coat and tie to school every day. He enjoys wearing brightly colored or patterned ties and socks to personalize the look; this tie is black and white, but the piratical skull and crossbones motifs are very much his style. This tie is made from 100% polyester; the sales pages says it is as “1200 needle handmade product”. I was a bit confused by what this meant, so I looked it up. 1200 needles refers to the thread count; a tie with this count would usually have a dense or high quality knit or weave. To me, the 1200 needles sounds like a factor made fabric; I’m not sure how this tie is “hand made” after examining it; it doesn’t look specifically hand rolled or hand sewn. The tie is a woven fabric, it feels much like my son’s other ties in textures which range in quality from high end silks that were hand me downs or thrift store finds to inexpensive polyester. I’m still trying to figure out the “hand made” tie; in my experience, hand made ties are either hand rolled/sewn or artisanal in origin; i.e., repurposed from a vintage fabric and hand rolled and sewn, or possibly made from a handmade woven fabric. This tie doesn’t seem to fit either of these definitions, so I’ not picking up on what’s hand sewn about it.That being said, it’s a nice tie. It’s slim, not super skinny, but thinner than the average tie. The skull and crossbone logos appear to be sewn or woven into the pattern, you can see the stitching, so they aren’t just printed. From the front, the appearance is quite nice; from the back side, you can see the reverse side of the fabric, which is a non descript grey weave. However, the tie does have an elastic bar sewn into it to keep it in place, so you’re not likely to see the reverse side.At the current price ($12.99) I think the tie’s appearance far outshines its modest, inexpensive price point. I’ve seen similar piratical designs on ties from pricey menswear stores; obviously, this is made from inexpensive fabric, but it has a high end look. The polyester fabric isn’t shiny or heavy; it looks similar to upscale tie fabrics. My teenage son really liked the juxtaposition of the classic, businesslike black and white tie and the little pirate skull and crossbones. This was a nice addition to his tie collection at a budget friendly price. I could see a group of guys wearing this tie for a bachelor party or get together; it’s also just a fun tie to add to the work wardrobe (or school dress code). And perfect for Talk Like a Pirate Day.Cute tie, love the pirate style!

Fun elephant tie. The color is a nice shade of blue without being too loud. Great find!

Was pleasantly surprised by the pattern and design of this tie. The navy-blue color along with the rudders are nice but since presented symmetrically on the tie, it appears very formal and dressy that I've worn at work several times and have been complimented on the overall design. The quality and material of the tie appears to be high quality polyester with a nice sheen as well as a somewhat silky-smooth touch. There were no loose threads, and the quality of the stitching had no issues. The picture as shown by the manufacturer is true to color and design. Overall, would highly recommend this tie as an addition to any collection and as it can be worn for any event.

The Hawson Coyote pattern skinny tie is both modern and well-made. The colors are deep and vibrant, and the graphic embroidery looks precisely as it does in the photos by the seller. This often isn't the case, so I was thrilled that it was true to the listing!I added some images where I tied the tie using the super skinny end, which is great for an 80s retro party. However, if you tie it the regular way, you'd still get a more modern and streamlined look at 2.5 inches wide at the bottom. Overall, this tie-and-coyote pattern is lighthearted and fun for work or a more formal occasion like a wedding. It is sure to draw some attention, but it's not so far out there that people will think it's more of a joke than a series addition to your wardrobe.A+
