This bag is made of a decent material, it isn't that paper thin stuff so many backpacks are made of these days, but still not a hefty canvas.The colors aren't nearly as vibrant as in the pictures, just muted a bit, still nice.The handles are pretty strong but again not extra hefty, they'll definitely be enough if this is used as a simple gym bag.It has 4 storage compartments total, a small mesh pocket on the one end on the outside, the main bag area, and inside the main bag there's a zippered pouch and an open pouch, both of which are relatively small.All of the zippers are very average, like you'd get on a children's coat or something, the exterior zippers' handles have big cords attached to them to make gripping them easier.All around this is a mostly middle of the road bag but it leans heavily in favor of the good. It unfortunately probably won't last very long under particularly rowdy kids' watch, but with some level of gentleness it'll get you through at least a few seasons probably.

Purchased as a "gym" type bag for my 9 year old. Size was it is not too big that it swallows his body or too small that we can't fit the needs in it. Just right. Quality of the item seems to be great. Again, it was purchased for a young boy and is holding up great.

I am including in my picture a baseball to give an idea about the size of this product. For my 10 year old's most needs, it has more than enough space, but note that it would not fit a full size basketball, for example.The color palette is excellent and it is very pleasant to look at. it has a side mesh to put things like keys or a water bottle. All of the material has the feel of sturdiness and makes you think it will last a very long time before any rips or holes. The handles at the top are long enough for a 10 year old to be able to wear it like a backpack. The zipper operation is fluid and it is not too heavy.I have absolutely no reason to give this duffel bag for kids less than 5 stars. highly recommended.

The lightweight design makes it easy for them to handle, and the bright colors really stand out. It has multiple compartments, which helps keep everything organized.
