I got this to have a cool dice tower to add to the ttrpg table. This works well, though it can be a bit finnicky to re-collapse. It is also a bit fragile and I have worried I broke it a couple of times. Once I got the hang of it it was easier to collapse more confidently, but be careful/

I liked the way it looked coming out of the box, but that was very short lived. The tower is collapsible and can be raised 3 additional levels which sounds nice until you realize that there is no way for it to hold in place at that height other then friction of pieces which do not have enough tensile strength to hold their shape given the slightest touch. On the third roll of a d8, the tower collapsed upon itself splitting the tower door into 2 pieces. After a few more tries it became tougher and tougher to make the tower stand to full height without collapsing. I was actually in the middle of taking a picture of it at full height when it collapsed again causing the base of one of the tower sections to separate from the rest of it. The dice tower part consists of nothing more then a hole in the top and a set of stairs in the bottom with nothing inside to make the dice bounce around. Move along, nothing to see here.

I originally had planned to paint this miniature as I have with my other Hautico sets. However, after getting this in and seeing how it works, I decided to keep it unpainted for portability reasons. The tower is built of 4 sections that telescope outward to create the full effect. The pieces fit together via friction, so painting them would make it hard to collapse the tower without scratching up the finish. It looks fantastic as is and has already been a hit at the table. I have a few young players who always loose the dice, and this has helped tremendously with keeping them on the table. Highly Recommended!

This collapsing tower is great for DND game play as it can collapse but it needs better mechanisms to keep it from falling down when you stack it. I was thinking of adding velcro dots but it defeats the purpose of being collapsing. It's okay.
