Mask was on time and as stated but doesn't hold up like cashels do.

The material is stiff enough to stay in place over the nose (I have a white nosed horse) yet comfortable enough not to irritate. Been using for several weeks and so far is durable. Designed such that the mask can stay on if the horse needs to be haltered. (I would not ride with this mask, there are masks specifically designed for use with a bridle.) The black mesh material over the eyes is also just stiff enough so it does not collapse onto the eye. Material also covers the jowls/cheeks and is secured with two velcro straps. (I keep the straps a little looser than the photos show.) It is washed every night via hose since part of the nose mesh gets packed with some dirt - no problems with daily washing. I would buy again.

I have quite a few of these masks, and in a lot of them, the ears rip. To be honest, I expect horse things to break so that's not really a huge deal for me. For the most part, the mesh holds up nicely. I did have one horse rip the nose off of his. Overall, my horses were more comfortable without flies in their faces all day and most of them will be used next summer as well.

I tried the cob size first because most of the measurements seemed right for my horse. She is a large pony with a Quarter horse type head, not big but broad between the eyes. The cob size was the right length but too narrow across the eyes and was almost touching her eyes. I returned for the Full size and it is wide enough but very long. The nose piece is 2-3 inches past the end of her nose. I folded it under, but I think I will try to cut and sew it to be the right length. I think the material is working well for durability and blocking the sun. It definitely keeps out the flies, too.
