Made for an excellent gift. Only thing is the lid is a bit stained with tea colour after 2 months of use

Perfect for loose tea. Easy to clean, too. I bought 2 more to give away.

Quite disappointed in this product. The handles are not smooth, quite rough and sharp. The wood has also started to discolour and I haven't owned it for that long. This gets washed regularly but have noticed the ring inside the jug on the metal start to rust. It does hold the heat, but not as long as the Thermos brand. Also disappointed to find out it was not made in Japan. We have purchased the Hario coffee server and that feels like quality compared to this server. Water also gets stuck in the lid when washing and it's hard to take out. This is not the expected Hario quality.

Retains heat for hours, easy to pour, and looks great. The wooden handle is a nice touch. The sealing mechanism works well, but it is necessary to open the carafe to completely empty it.
