this sake set is just as it looks in the photo and was very happy that it looked just the way i was hoping it would. this was a gift for my mother and as soon as she opened it she was so happy and loved them. they are a good size for personal use but if you need something to hold a large amount of sake then maybe you should look for something a bit bigger but i felt that size was a great and perfect size for a small group of four people drinking together. I really loved that the set does include four sake glasses because a lot of sets had only two drinking cups and i was looking for a set that included four cups and i was so excited when i found this set because it was exactly what i wanted for my mom and even better it was such a good price and i definitely recommend this set because it is well worth the low price you pay for it. Its a great set at a very low price. The design is also very nice and it comes in a nice box with the sections separated for each cup to ensure they are protected from damage.

If anyone is an admirer of Japanese cultural music and fine dining a saki set is a must have. Not only is this set a great conversation piece and elegantly designed, it is a fully functional celebratory set for those special occasions for a saki toast or simply enjoying the flavor of a fine exotic drink. The set is extremely well constructed and will be passed along to my son; he is already attempting to have me "hand" it over to him. Each set should be researched and the owner understand the history and proper use of this neat, formal cultural implement.

I bought a tea set and dishes in this same style while I was living in Beijing, but never had a sake set. When i started drinking Sake at home I went looking for a sake set, found this one and immediately fell in love. It looks great and works well to serve Sake. It has been washed by hand numerous times and shows no signs of flaking or fading.

This was exactly what I was looking for in a sake set. It makes a nice presentational piece and it is functional as well. The calligraphy on it is very nice. I did not have a problem receiving the correct product as some reviewers said but it did take a little while to ship though it did arrive on time thankfully. Very happy with this set all around.
