This is a great kit. Everything you need to create a cute bag, including a decent liner. The instructions are pretty good too. They give you written instructions, a diagram and step by step pics for performing each kind of stitch. Great colors too!Edit: the inner bag on mine didn’t actually line up to the crochet bag. I don’t think this is the result of my crochet skills. If it was, the liner would be too big but it’s not. The holes for the strap to pass through on the liner are just in the wrong place. I’m not going to be able to pass the strap through the liner.

I didn’t like the pattern that came with the kit, so I made a different granny square, but I love how it came out! There was a TON of extra yarn. I like the type of yarn included and all the extra parts that came with it, too! The liner is a nice thick fabric that fit inside exactly right and was really easy to sew in by hand. The handles make it look more polished. I’m not sure I’d have been able to make a purse as good looking on my own. I showed it off to everyone. Lol.

I resently learned to single crochet and wanted to do a project. Saw this purse and thought would be a great way to learn to do granny squares and complete a useful project. So I got it! The kit comes with everything you need and lots of extra yarn. Written instructions are clear and you get a QR code to a video that was super helpful and easy to follow.I watched the full video before start, then compared video with the written instructions and with the patern provided, then I did one square following the video. Once I understood how to read the patern and did the practice square, I started the project. I made mistakes along the way when joining the squares, so the final product isn’t perfect but I’m happy with the results for being my first crochet (and selfthoght)) project. I made my own modifications, changing the handles, making my own insert with a pretty print fabric using the one included in this kit for reference, and adding a button and tassel to add a secured close.All in all, I highly recommend this kit if you are basic level, learning on your own, and want to accomplish a useful and beautiful project.
