Bought for my sister as a Christmas gift and she loves it. Uses it quite a bit and still going strong.

Me gustó mucho.

Got this first as a gift and was rather unimpressed with the whole idea until I actually started using it. What a great way to make quick food items for the kids, use up leftovers, or just make a fast snack. Works with almost any type of filling as long as you don't go overboard and keep the lid from being able to close. If you are using thick filling items (diced chicken for example) you may need to use some muscle strength to force the lid closed enough to engage the lock. I have not had any problems getting the interior contents hot before the shell burns so that's good. But the shells do get more crunchy than say a fast food quesadilla. The interior design has ribs that press down on the shells and make sealed triangle pockets but they aren't long enough or sharp enough to actually cut the quesadilla for you. Most of the time you can break or tear the triangles apart but sometimes you need to use a knife and cut them if you actually want them separated. The inside is also non-stick but everything that leaks out of mine promptly burns onto it and usually sticks. Because you can't submerge the maker in water cleaning can be a chore if you've gotten it really messy. This will make quesadillas using pre-coooked or raw shells and the only limit to the type of quesadilla is your own imagination and how how much stuff you can feasibly stuff into it and still seal the lid. When the one I was gifted broke after two years I promptly went out and bought another I liked it so much.

NEW REVIEW: Previously I mentioned the issues of getting the correct size tortillas in my smaller rural area. The two grocery stores both lacked the proper size when I checked. Turns out this specific size seems to be most popular and as it turns out, both stores had large and small, but were both sold out of medium. The next trip after Xmas there was an abundance of the required size. Not an issue of the apparatus itself, just that it would not work optimal without the correct size. No the manufacturers fault if tortillas are more scarce in my area. With the correct size it worked great. However, if they make a larger one, get that one instead. This medium size makes a snack, you'll likely need to make two for a meal. A larger one would be closer to a meal. If you just want a snack, it's perfect.

Even if the quesadillas are a little too thick and the maker won't latch, it still browns and heats them up just fine. The lid is weighted enough to still do its job. I had a "Build Your Own Quesadilla" get-together last night while we watched football, and it was perfect! Everyone thought the little maker was quite clever. We used 8-inch "soft taco" white flour tortillas with a variety of toppings, and the quesadillas were perfectly cooked and delicious. Each quesadilla was ready within a couple of minutes. Great buy!

I never knew a quesadilla maker was something I needed until I saw this product on sale! I’ve made 3 quesadillas since this thing arrived and they always turn out just perfect. It heats up in less than 5 minutes and the quesadilla is ready in just 2 or 3 minutes, so it’s great for when you’re hungry & in a hurry. I especially appreciate the rivets around the heating plate edges that help seal the tortillas really well, so none of the fillings will come spilling out the other end whenever you take a bite.My only complaint is rubber the heat-resistant grip on the top wasn’t stuck on very well, as you can see in the pic it keeps curling up at the edges. But it’s such a minor issue I still think this was a great deal and functions really well, especially for the cost.
