Worked great as a budget option. If I could go back in time I’d pick one I could sit up in, however this one functioned as expected. Ps, I’m 6’1 and it was a little tight.

This thing is GREAT; I plan to order one for each member of my family to gift next year for the holidays. We live in hurricane country and one of the unfortunate things after a natural disasters is that ravenous mosquitoes are EVERYWHERE. And often screens, doors, and windows have been damaged in the houses so even if you do have a roof over your head, you'll probably still have mosquitoes in your bed. This product has screening all the way around (which was not clear in the product photos, and one of the things I wanted to test), so you can be sure you have overall protection. I would still spray mine with permethrin before the season, since given the narrow quarters your skin might still hit the screen and a bug could bite you THROUGH it. (Remember that permethrin is poisonous to cats until dry - don't spray it around your cats!) It pops up like a car sunscreen. I found it quite difficult to figure out how to get it back in the bag but the trick is to bend it in the way that does not want to fight with you. This is roomy enough that I would consider taking it to the beach with me so I could enjoy the evenings without being bit, and for SURE I would take this with me if traveling to a country with malaria or other mosquito-borne illnesses. It is lightweight and takes up very little space.

There are certain times of the year when the mosquitos are just everywhere! We all hate getting bit by them, especially when we’re sleeping and can’t shoo them away. This pop-up mosquito net is such a clever solution to this problem! It comes in a small, flat, 13” diameter round package (which is super easy to store) and only takes a few seconds to pop it up to full size. At 78” long, which is 6’-5”, it’s large enough for tall man to comfortably lay down inside. You can’t really feel it when you’re in it, because the mesh is so lightweight and thin. It’s easy enough to roll over, sleep on your side, or move around in there. It’s like your own little personal mosquito-net tent – you just get in and zip it up and you’re protected from all bugs! Which reminds me, it would be great to take camping and pop it up inside your tent and put your sleeping bag inside it. I suppose you could even set it up on top of a hammock, because it is flexible. You could even set it up on the floor for the kids to play inside so they don’t get bit. It’s just a creative way to have a little personal space free from those awful biting bugs! A great thing to have on hand for each person in your household!
