Needed shorter gardening gloves, these did the job. Not waterproof. Top of gloves also allows dirt through but if only light gardening is manageable.

The best gardening gloves I have ever purchased. I use them nearly every day and recently bought onother pair to keep next to my fireplace to save my hands from splinters. I use them them the split wood to stack and all. Very durable.

My only complaint is that I lose these gloves before they wear out. I must put them in the wheelbarrow with my lawn debris and accidentally dump my beloved gloves, gone forever.I use these gloves 4-5 most weeks and they still look good, year after year -- truly! The soft leather palm and fingers make them flexible while the neoprene backing is nearly indestructible. These are by far the best garden gloves I've ever owned. I've had them in orange, green and now aqua. The velcro at the wrists is easy to pull off and on. Keeps dirt out and the cuff is wide enough to cover my Apple watch glass face. I wear the size small. They fit me perfectly.Unless you're looking for a pair of long gloves for tending roses, I highly recommend these.

I am petite (5 ft tall) and have small hands (I wear a small). First) I have a really hard time finding gloves that fit my hands, and Second) I am very hard on gloves. I dig a lot of holes in my yard, prying out rocks with my hands, and cutting and hauling brush. Until I got these gloves, I've ALWAYS blown out my gloves before the end of the summer. I purchased these in February 2021 and, unlike so many folks who review their products right away, I waited until now (August 2021) to review these -- I wanted to see how they held up to my usual abuse. These gloves have been subjected to: putting in a raised perennial bed (20' by 30'); hauling 10 cubic yards of garden soil and mulch; hauling 3 cubic yards of gravel; digging (by hand) and filling (by hand) four drainage trenches; cutting brush and hauling it away; and digging two post holes and setting posts. All of this work is done by hand. The verdict: I LOVE these gloves. They are comfortable, allow for movement requiring dexterity, and - most of all - they are still in one piece. No holes and the stitching is still intact. As for the water resistance - I don't find them to be water resistant. They exhibited this feature a little bit when I first got them; however, now they are like any other gloves I've had -- they get soaked when I work with wet material. I'm giving these gloves 5 stars because I wanted gloves that fit and didn't fall apart. I did NOT buy them for water resistance.
