Gift for my husband to use when grilling so he doesn't have to keep using my pink kitchen ones haha They work well and are easier to use than hot pads.

It was hard and brittle with the whole bottom of the bag with broken pieces. I even put it in a warm place. No help

I compared these gloves to my Ove glove and regular oven mittens after using them all for removing baked goods and baking trays from a 400°F oven.The heat protection on these gloves is lower than that from my other gloves and mittens. After holding the hot baking tray for 30 seconds, I could feel the heat become uncomfortable on my hands when using these gloves. My other gloves and mittens lasted twice as long for heat protection under the same situation.The material on these gloves may be high-heat resistant, but the gloves are just average for heat protection of your hands.

With these gloves on, I was sticking my entire hand into ovens, smokers, and woodstoves like I was invincible. I was slinging around hot cast iron pans like they were paper plates. The heat protection from these things are amazing. I seriously could reach into the oven and grab the rack by the wires and pull it out with the freshly-cooked lasagna still on it. The non-stick patterns definitly help keep a grip on the dishes I was holding.I have meaty hands, and they fit comfortably in these gloves.The only real complaint is that a lot of fine dexterity is lost while wearing these gloves, but that's pretty much moot since fine detail work in the kitchen isn't done in the middle of hellflames.I wish there was a loop so I could hang these up conveniently within sight of the oven to remind my visually-operated family to use them instead of hiding them in a drawer.
