Lovely machine heads. Easy to fit and work well. Put them on a Gibson J-35 and an SG and they work fine - as expected. They offer a 14:1 ratio. Great value and used on many top end Gibson acoustics...

I'm an avid rock guitarist & do-it-yourselfer, and I bought and assembled a guitar kit a couple years ago, just on a whim. It turned out to be an awesome guitar, and the only thing that prevented it from being gig-worthy were the tuners (they couldn't stay in tune for five minutes, even with perfect bridge intonation). So I swapped 'em out for a set of these Grovers, and it made all the difference in the world. You can rock hard and shred to your heart's content without fear of going out of tune. They've got a great solid feel to them and look really nice. The 14:1 gear ratio is just right for precise tuning. One quick note: these machine heads are for 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) diameter post holes, so you might want to check your existing holes to see if they'll need to be modified. Of course, any luthier can drill them wider if need be, but it's just something to keep in mind. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who's looking to seriously upgrade their guitar's overall performance. Great buy!
