Super simple quick connect replacement. Excellent price well made. Slightly expensive but worth it! It’s just nice to have my kitchen sink faucet working again! Delivery took four days, kinda disappointing but doesn’t matter as it’s finally working again and so fast to connect.

Mine lasted almost 18 years, i am surprised the faucet is still functioning. Mine developed a crack above the thread. I called the local stores Grohe referred in their website, most of them were closed because it was Saturday, the only one that "had" it in the inventory turned out to be the green one (less gpm). So I had to order it from Amazon. It cost a little more, but keeping my wife happy... priceless.

Grohe is one of those brands that you know are designed and manufactured just the best way it can be. Yes, like one of the previous reviewers, this part gave up just near the eve of its 12 year anniversary. But, like a perfectly designed part, it creates minimal mess as there is no need to shut off water. No extra tools needed, just your bare hands. Plus it's colour coded, so no way you will buy the wrong part.So if it is that good, why does it fail at all, even if it is after 12 years? I think it is the philosophy of a properly designed part to even have properly designed failure (weak) point, so that the location and the extent of the damage is also controlled, which after years of handling pressured water with hardness and other debris is to be expected. If one thinks about it, this is one of those perfectly designed and executed part of a perfect engineered faucet system. Thank you Grohe. It would not be fair if I did not thank Amazon for the excellent job of sending me a replacement. Between our main kitchen faucet failing at 10:30 pm, and Amazon delivering the part to my house at 2:30 pm, it just was 14 hours! No extra payments, but for the Amazon Prime, and no panic phone calls. Just reach home after work and find the part waiting to be installed. And the installation time? 3 minutes and I am stretching it.In a nutshell, extremely satisfied with the way things turned out, thanks to both Amazon and Grohe. And yes, it does mention that the part is designed and manufactured in Germany. Hopefully, another 12 years of bliss on an extremely important device in the house.

Like the previous reviewer I also had the "low flow" problem, and swapping out this part fixed the issue. Install didn't even require shutting off the water and only needed one set of pliers to make sure the screw-on side of the fitting was sealed tight. It was easy to know that this was the correct part thanks to the colour code. Thanks!

Grohe faucet low flow rate ...... THIS is the culprit. Takes 2 minutes to replace (no need to shut water off as this flow limiter is on the output side of the Grohe faucet lever) and can be done with only your bare hands provided you have a strong grip. Once replaced .... Grohe flow is back to normal.
