I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this spigot, especially for the price! I bought it as a replacement for the original plastic spigot on my ZeroWater glass dispenser, which felt cheap and had constant leaking issues. From the moment I received this spigot, I could tell it was a significant upgrade. The weight and feel of it scream durability, and the handle operates smooth as butter. It fit perfectly on my dispenser with no hassle, and best of all—no leaks or drips! This is hands down the best upgrade for anyone dealing with flimsy plastic spigots. Absolutely worth every penny, and I’d recommend it 100% to anyone looking for a quality replacement!

I washed the h-e-double-hockey-sticks out of this thing with Dawn platinum and rinsed it heartily and repeatedly when I got it for use with my glass zerowater brand filter tank/water dispenser thing. I still got a taste of nastiness in the first few glasses, basically the whole first tank of water. If I get one of these again I am running like a few gallons through it before drinking from it after washing it. It works well though, pretty sturdy, has a really basic ball valve so it makes the stream go all wonky and kinda twist if you don't open it all the way, which can cause spills, and the flow isn't very laminar, but it flows fast and can fill up a kettle quickly so that's good. I do not like how there is some flex up and down when twisting the handle open, I can see that maybe being a weak point. TBQH your beverage dispenser will probably break before this spout does. It's quite hardy.

I was given an old 2 gallon glass beverage dispenser that had been sitting in a barn for years, unused because it leaked. It was going to taken off to the dump. But it was a beautiful old dispenser, just had a cheap plastic spigot that I was told leaked.I needed another jar to do continuous brew kombucha at home, and when it was offered to me, I took it! I had already purchased this particular spigot for another, newer, dispenser that I had, and it worked fine. So I purchased again to try to salvage the old dispenser. And what do you know! It worked! Dispenser cleaned up well after its years in the barn, and with the new spigot, works like new! Now happily brewing another kombucha batch, and everything is holding up well. And no leaks!

Delivery and package no problem. Compared to the original plastic spigot this one is nice and shiny and "heavy". Used small bottle brush and dish soap to clean best I could. Seems to be made well and feels like an upgrade. Fit our Big Berkey with no problem. Needed a crescent wrench to tighten inside nut during install. Stamped sheet metal washers supplied are sharp enough to cut you as others have noted so be careful. Lever action is smooth and easy, 90 degrees range of motion. Original spigot had become stiffer with age and was 180 degrees. Took me a day to become used to the difference. The flow rate is double what I am used to and that is great. No more dripping spigot. So far (1-2 weeks, daily use) this is easy 5 stars.

Se adapto perfectamente al dispensador y sin ningun goteo. Se ve super bien, sella bien, facil de instalar. La velocidad es muy rapida y se puede regular con la misma llave.

I am thoroughly satisfied with this stainless steel beverage spigot from Oak Leaf. It is a high-quality product offered at a very good price... the best I could find at the time of this review. Oak Leaf responded promptly to my question. The spigot arrived quickly and I was immediately impressed with its quality. For some re-ason water currently tastes too bland to me so I haven't been drinking as much as I should. I decided to get a beverage dispenser to have infused water that I enjoy drinking more readily available. After purchasing a beverage dispenser locally for way too much $$$, I was very disappointed with the cheap, plastic, painted spigot that came with it. It looked ugly (really cheap), dispensed water very slowly, and I'm certain it would fail in short time. Plus, I'm not keen on using plastic for food & beverage storage.I returned it immediately and looked on Amazon for a better model. It seems cheap spigots are the defacto offerings - yuk. While searching, I saw listings for stainless steel spigots & that gave me the idea to make a DIY infused water dispenser. After researching SS spigots, this one offered by Oak Leaf is the best option. I already had a glass gallon jar so I ordered the drill bit needed for $8 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B300J8O/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and this awesome spigot. Everything arrived within two days and I had my infused water dispenser up and running in under 20 minutes including the time for drilling the hole in the jar and assembling the spigot... and slicing up fruits for the infusion. I'm no DIY expert, it was just that easy. The installation itself is a piece of cake. Instructions are not included but none are needed as it is so intuitive. Logically, it only fits one way:- Slide one stainless steel washer onto the spigot screw (convex facing out; towards the spigot head) followed by one silicone spacer.- Place the screw thru the hole in the jar.- From inside the jar, slide the 2nd silicone spacer onto the screw followed by the 2nd SS washer (convex facing in; away from the spigot head).- Thread the nut onto the screw and finger tighten. TIP: I found it easier to hold the nut stationary from inside the jar and turn the spigot clockwise from outside the jar to tighten. Take care to not overtighten - just enough so the spigot head doesn't wobble or jiggle. This spigot is well designed & shouldn't leak even if it's on loose enough to wobble. I do not have strong hands and did not find it necessary to use a wrench. This spigot is nicely machined and polished, has a good solid heft, dispenses like a dream & turns off securely - no drips. [TIP: If your spigot slows down, loosen the jar lid a tad to release the vacuum. I loosen mine after placing it on the stand and leave it that way.] The silicone spacers are dense but pliable enough to offer a secure seal. The nut threads smoothly on the screw. The screw is long enough to accommodate thicker walled containers. All included components show no seam lines and are of high quality.I'm so pleased with my DIY dispenser and LOVE how this spigot makes it look. The polished hardware gives it the appearance of high-end models, 😉. And I am drinking more water again, so, it's working well for me. This unit is lead free and also safe to use with acidic beverages like teas, kombucha, sangria, etc. I am confident that this product will last for many, many years and will live to see multiple applications.I happily recommend this spigot and feel good about doing so. Seriously, you really can't beat this price! I am thinking of a couple more DIY dispensing project ideas & will surely order from Oak Leaf again when needed. Best of luck in whatever your spigot usage needs are.
