Not a whole lot to say about a thread adapter, but it's your standard aluminum thread adapter with the black paint and reasonably smooth gliding threads. I didn't notice any blemishes or issues with the quality of mine and the price was a hair cheaper than on some of the astronomy specific web stores I frequent. If you know these are the threads you need to adapt, give it a shot.

Pretty self-explanatory. It allows you to attach two accessories together that have different threads. For example, I have this Barlow lens that has M42 threads. I can attach it to this adapter on one side. I have an extension tube that has M48 threads. I can attach that to the other side. Additionally, it acts as a small extension tube due to its thickness.This is a handy, lightweight addition, made of sturdy aluminum, for when you want to connect two pieces together that wouldn’t be able to attach together otherwise.

The adapter is just what I need. It works well well built, but highly recommend.
