I have ordered two of these 100' Govee lights (2x50' strands). The first broke at the bifurcation as shown in the picture with very little pressure being applied. The same thing happened with the second set. Amazon is unwilling to send another replacement and referred me to Govee to honor their warranty. Govee said they would not honor the warranty or send another replacement because Amazon had already done so, then referred me back to Amazon. I wonder if anyone else has this same issue because it seems to be an inherent flaw in the design or a manufacturing flaw.

It is frustrating that a product that cost $60 has failed in less than 2 months. The power supply is working fine under tests, so the issue is the lights. Do not recommend buying these.

I’m kind of disappointed that this app has so many modes but they’re all terrible. It’s either you choose a solid color or you choose a random cycle that uses a descriptor like “retro” or “downpour” and it will just aggressively and abruptly change random colors super fast. There’s no way to have it display a rainbow or two tone or anything other than a solid color or a solid color that rapidly cycles with other colors. My only other gripe is that you can select any color you want form the color wheel, but the lights don’t accurately reflect your choice most of the time. Blue is blue, but white and orange aren’t white or orange. It’s hit or miss when it comes to color options despite appearing to have so many. As for the installation, I found it to be super easy having just followed instructions. The app was a bit of a nightmare to pair, but after thinking I had failed and it would never work, it just randomly began working. As for the adhesive, it’s really solid and appears to be built well. It was very expensive for how small of a package arrived, but after installing it I guess I’m happy with my purchase. I just wished the app functionality matched the advertised experience.

I got the 100ft strip and have Echo devices at home so knew I would connect it to that. Generally the integration works, but occasionally when I tell Alexa to turn the lights on or off, nothing will happen until I go to my phone, launch the Govee app and turn them on/off from there. At that point the Alexa connection has always worked again, but is annoying to have it disconnect. I can’t just leave the system to guests and expect the lights to work for them over the smart home when they really may end up having to go to the physical remote which is tethered to the end of the light strip with about a foot to play with, so it can’t really be placed in a convenient spot necessarily.Secondly, the color choices on the app are often wildly different from what actually displays on the lights. Pull up the color wheel in the app and click a color, what shows up on the lights might be what was expected but it might be entirely off. In the end you can usually find the color you were looking for, though- again, just a bit more effort than desired but in the end the lights work generally well and the light they put out is strong and consistent. Looks very nice wrapping around the long triple bay windows in my living room so that even when the curtains are closed, the light glows from behind.Installation was very easy, the alcohol pads that came with were plenty and it was easy to line up the lights and lay them down.Overall I’m happy with the purchase so far (a few weeks in).

No trae un extensor para unificar las dos tiras solo por eso no se lleva las 5 enteras estrellas

So the strips are great just like the shorter lengths I bought from a slightly different model.I'd give it 5 stars BUT they really need to specify if the cable connectors are attached or detachable. The other model of lights I bought from Govee have the ability to remove the entire strip, however this 100 ft strip does not, the ends are soldered to the wire which is a lesser feature for sure.Personally I'd suggest getting shorter ones and just paying for the size you need that way even if its slightly more. This is because IF you short circuit the lights on this 100 ft strip, you can't as easily salvage the lights. On the other shorter strip that was roughly 32 ft I had that happen where 3 lights got damaged (my own fault) and I was able to just cut those off and use connectors to attach the lights that still worked.

Me llego en tiempo y forma venia completo aunque donde se conecta mínimo raspado, ilumina bien y se conecta fácilmente a Alexa y comando
