During chemotherapy, I lost my hair eyebrows and eyelashes so I continuously bought head coverings through each season and this one is one that you can wear pretty much all year-round with peace of mind. Once your hair grows in and you’re going through the weird transitional phases, it is a good beanie to wear as well. The color is true representation as the pictures, as well as the pattern. I would love to give this five stars but the only issue I had was the fit. If you wash and dry it, it doesn’t develop the pills that some cottons and most polyester do and it doesn’t shrink down. When you wear the beanie for an extended period of time the band part that slips over your head to hold it in place tends to loosen as the day progresses and has a tendency to fall down towards my nose, so I’m constantly having to push it back or just take it off. Once my hair grows in more than what it is while I am going through the transitional phase I will still continue to wear the hat because I just think it’s adorable.

It looked small when I first put it on but after giving it a stretch it looks perfect, just like the pictures. Just don't stretch it around the bottom edge though because I went a little overboard and it wouldn't stay up, kept falling down to my eyebrows so I had to put it in the dryer to shrink it. Shrunk right back down though and this time I just stretched the top part and now it stays in place. Anyway, the quality was immediately obvious and it's 100% cotton which I didn't realize when ordering, so that was a nice surprise. I have a similar one but it's synthetic, this one feels so much nicer. Love how light it is too so you can wear it in the summer. With the crochet type fabric it might not be the warmest thing for winter but it still provides some insulation. Don't even hesitate to order, one of my fav amazon buys by far!
