Easy to install, exact fit in my Pelpro. Quality and durability have outlasted the oem part.

Even though my original element rod is 8-1/4" ,this 4" one still works and lights up the pellet. My pellet stove is a discontinued brand and had to modify eve to fit generic parts. 300watts is what my unit runs as and fits all the temperature sensors which I have changed as well and I rewired everything too as new again. It overall it's nice to push a button again instead of torching all the time to start it up. The wifey is happy to push button after 2 years of searching for a fit and specs for it. Will purchase more as back up. They usually don't last 2 years these elements even though they only use 300 watts for 5 mins as start up only. Not sure why they burn so quickly. But after 15 years of use I only went through 4 elements so far. So for some that I hear it's to short or something it doesn't matter. It will still heat up the inside sleeve to heat your pellets. Doesn't have to be to size. Make sure it matches the wattage is asks. You have a controller and lots of sensors that tell it what to do and when based on the heat and temperature at start up and shut off. Hope this review helps others. And it's been run ING for a month now. Even if burns it's okay. If it lasts a year then I can be okay with it. I will be still looking and testing other elements to fit my stove. But if I find this holds for longer years because of its size and capacity I will just by more as back up. Now I will have to find augers to fit it as backup. Another piece that burns often. Augers with fan are the updated ones and keep that motor cool from overheating as the exhaust motor. Fixed to many of them. Their just fan motors from bathroom fans. $14 a motor. Last fix I did input a fan propeller on it so it can cool it as it turns at the same time and it's been 4 years with no issues anymore. Hope this helps too for many when they need to buy and know what to look for if their motor are not configured that way. Overall we are happy our element part is working with no problems and gives us back the comfort of pushing the button again.
