Fits well, just what was needed to protect my hands from the sun, yet allows finer finger movements to tie on hooks, lures, etc.

No dan calor.

These gloves fit just right and are really comfortable. I like that the fingers are open at the ends but do cover more than most fingerless gloves (to between the knuckle and the nailbed on my hands). I actually don't use them for outdoors, but for when I do gel nails to protect my skin from the UV lamp. They're great!

Pretty cool gloves. Every now and then my hooks get caught in them, so I don't foresee these holding up forever, but I like them enough to buy them every year or so. Honestly, I think ANY gloves intended for the purpose of fishing would fall apart after a while because you're touching fins, gill plates, possibly teeth, abrasive line, hooks, etc, that are all going to shred them, it's just going to take a while. If you're serious about protecting your skin, you probably will just buy more. Has nothing to do with the quality of the gloves, they seem well-made, it's just the nature of how they are going to be used.I wish they had a cool color scheme, such as camp or something, but these gray gloves pretty much go with anything and they don't get too in the way when I'm fishing. They will absolutely not keep you warm at all, because they're made of...I think nylon? Anyway, it's not a material that offers much warmth, and especially not after they get wet (because they will get wet, since you're fishing). Once they're wet, they actually keep your hands very cool, which would be great during summer months when it's very hot out. During the spring and fall, I wear a fingerless fleece set of gloves and it's thick enough it probably is protecting me from most UV rays, and keeping me warm at the same time. So, all in all, these gloves are well made, but you may have to replace them eventually anyway because nothing lasts forever, and don't wear them when it's cold out unless you want your fingers to go numb. They will be very comfortable on a hot day.

I ordered these to protect my hands from a sun allergy. They do well for that purpose. They fit fairly large. The fabric is very slippery so grip is a problem. Biggest issue is that I "Dr" Shade must have failed anatomy class. The thumbs & little fingers are the same length as the middle fingers. This makes it impossible to grip anything since my thumbs and little finger are completely covered with the slippery fabric. They do slip off easily though which is the only advantage to the slippery fabric. I also ordered Buff Sport Series water gloves which I prefer. They are much better in quality, fit & comfort. They also fit large though.

Do Not Buy This Product - Counterfeit item received. The gloves are lined with cut-out Kellogg's Corn Flakes boxes, and are in a plastic zip-top bag with the label stapled to the other end. The material is too thin to be legitimate, but does have "Dr. Shade ®" stamped on it. In case you don't know trademark law, this makes it a Counterfeit Product, not a knock-off. On the plus side, Amazon customer service has been fantastic. They are refunding my money and I'm returning the product.
