It's been a while since I purchased a new motherboard and this one was a pleasant surprise... Everything was in perfect condition, the RAM slots were tight, the CPU socket shield was in place usual things.... Once the PC was built and turned on, I had zero issues booting and loading windows on the computer, it initiated it's own BIOS updates and software centre and is amazing.... The only minor issue I had was it wouldn't find it's inbuild Wi-Fi when installing Windows so I used a Wi-Fo dongle I had laying around to get it going. Once all the software was installed and updated it picked up it's drivers and has worked perfectly since.

Received a unit that was clearly used - had been fully installed at least once and was missing the instruction manual. (Inspected - really?) It didn't look 'bad' so proceed to install .... and then determined that this item was the 'bad' component in the system. If you are new to building a PC or working to meet a deadline, then this open-box probably isn't a good choice. The return process went smoothly and we don't regret trying it.

This has almost everything you’ll need for a decent PC build. USB 3.2 is a great plus along with Q Flash and inbuilt WiFi. The BIOS is good too. I messed up the build initially with some loose cable. But, the beep codes are really helpful. I googled and found the issue. Right now, I don’t think there is a better motherboard at this price.Cons: the IO shield took me a while to install. It is possible that I wasn’t doing it right though as it was my first time assembling a PCI would’ve liked some head sinks on top of the VRMs, but it gets the job done.
