It is easy to install. The lock is operated on a rechargeable battery with USBC cable which l like. It is biometric and digital operated lock. Also, there are three different settings for locking the door.

I have two of these installed on interior doors. It’s been two months and they’ve worked flawlessly so far. However, I have prepared myself that these will inevitably fail at some point. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next year, but I feel like that’s the nature of this type of product. We shall see, and I have the keys stashed accordingly in case of emergency.They installed easily, worked exactly as advertised. Turns out I already had their app for some other smart plug I had. So far, I absolutely love the doorknobs and recommend. I will likely update this review if I have a problem in the future.I would not install these on an exterior door and don’t know if they’re recommended for that purpose. The technology seems a bit fragile for weather and temperature exposure. I do think they feel like very good quality and design, especially for the price, but seem appropriate for interior doorknobs. Honestly, I expected more cheap imported, knock-off junk from Amazon. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality. I was (sadly) not paid for this review. I would definitely buy from this brand again.I picked these mostly for looks since both doors they’re installed on are French doors and I wanted the most subtle smart option since it needed to look minimally obtrusive with the other knob. This fingerprint lock is good. wasnt hard to replace my old knob and this knob is heavier and has a good feel to it. Set up is easy too and not much to it. The doorknob had no problems registering my fingerprints. This lock comes with two physical keys and has a usb port on the bottom in case it loses power from the batteries. It uses 4 AAA batteries and i am using rechargeable 1.2 (vs 1.5 alkaline) NiMH batteries with no issues.

Installed this in 20 minutes on my office door. No issues not hiccups. Great security features. Availablity to unlock from a distance.I can't find a single thing wrong with this set up! I will be buying more.

It’s packed with features and offers multiple ways to unlock, making it both secure and convenient for the whole family.One of the best things about this lock is that it works with the Tuya/Smart Life app, which we were already using for other smart devices. It was easy to add to the app, and it even worked with our existing Tuya gateway, allowing us to control the lock remotely when we’re not at home. If you prefer, you can also download the GHome app to manage the lock.Setting up the lock was straightforward. You can store fingerprints for everyone in the family, create custom codes (including one-time use codes), and even control it with Alexa or Google Assistant. The fingerprint sensor is fast and reliable—it usually works on the first try. If it doesn’t, just wait a second for the red light to turn off before trying again, and it should read your fingerprint properly.There’s also a convenient “passage mode,” which allows you to keep the door unlocked. You simply press a button on the inside and confirm with your fingerprint. This is great when you want the door to stay open for guests or when moving things in and out.Installation was a breeze with the included instructions, though I found the app setup took a little more patience. Once you’ve paired the lock with the app and set up fingerprints and codes, it’s smooth sailing. You can also invite family members to access the lock through the app, but I haven’t tried that feature yet.Overall, this lock has been fantastic so far. The combination of fingerprint access, password entry, app control, and physical keys ensures you’ll never be locked out. It’s well-built, secure, and convenient to use.
