I used this to process a few pheasants this last fall. The size and weight along with a simple but well-fitting sheath make it easy to throw in a bag or vest pocket and forget it’s there, but without stabbing or cutting yourself. It easily went through the wings of even the biggest roosters that we shot, and it comes apart to clean easily enough.Having only used it for one season, I can’t really comment on the edge retention, but worst case it looks like it can sharpen up easily enough.If I was processing large quantities of large game, this may not be my first choice, but for an easily carrying option in the field, it does its job perfectly.

I bought these for my boys to make processing grouse a little easier, and these shears make short work of chopping through bones and flesh! I even use a set in the kitchen to cut the backbone out of whole chicken for spatchcocking.

Not given them a big work out but go threw leather and material belts like butter.Great for stripping fish clipping wings off ectdont try to cut threw bones any shears will break use a knife.

Estoy efectuando la devolución, ya que son de mala calidad y vienen defectuosas. Las 2 hojas de la tijera no embonan bien una sobre la otra cuando la tijera esta cerrada, y no se cierra en su totalidad. No hay forma de saber esto sin retirarlas de su paquete original.

Como es habitual con las herramientas de esta marca, es ligera pero sólido en su construcción además de la buena calidad en los materiales así como sus diseño. Es muy fácil de separar para su almacenamiento, trasporte y limpieza. Cortan con facilidad y precisión

Las compre para la caja de herramientas y hasta ahora les he dado un uso bastante rudo y han aguantado muy bien su filo y la calidad Gerber se ve

These are great game scissors. Have used mainly with rabbit and duck but work well and really easy to clean. I previously purchased no-name versions and returned them as they were misaligned and poorly constructed. These are only a couple dollars more and well worth it. Likely won't cut through heavy bone but still a great butchery tool to have on hand.
