Here's a fun cellist riddle: when is your C string smaller than your A string?When you bought these!They are so tiny. I really did think they were violin strings until I realized how long there were. However they do tune to the correct note, so there's that. Definitely going to break easy.

These strings are what you pay for. The low end C and G stings are good enough and the D string give an acceptable tone. The A stings however is a bit shrill and squeaks and rely takes effort to get a good sound woith. If you ant a good rich tone buy Prelude or Hellicore. Right now at home they are okay but when I will be going out to play I will buy Prelude or Hellacore.

These are not the best, but not the worst. I'm on a budget as most people are and just can't afford very high-end strings fro my cello. They are pretty sensitive and to me have a warm tone, but I do fear they will break soon while tuning. I'd suggest these for students.
