Installation was a breeze. The USB ports put out exactly what they advertise. I have a laptop that complained about nearly every adapter I tried, even those claiming to output way more than 65W. This satisfies my laptop power requirements. The additional USB A port is really handy for a few of my legacy devices like flashlights and headsets with custom cables. It has really cleaned up my desk from a mess of random chargers.

Generally if your needs are very light, this probably works. There’s no way it’s 65 watts. I bought this to get rid of my 40 watt raspberry pi wall wart. It works for that, as long as nothing else is plugged into the USBs. Even something with low power draw causes it to fail booting. Plus, when I plugged in my wireless charger (just the charger, nothing on it) the charge light blinked with itermittant power. Not worth it if you want USB connections, and at this price why wouldn’t you.

Installed this when we upgraded to an new ipad. The new iPad uses the USB-c connector instead of the normal apple connector that all of our phones use. I wanted the capability to charge with high speed wether it was the ipad or one of our phones charging. This does both with no problem. We can charge the ipad and also a iphone at the same time and they don't take half as long as they did with the USB-A version of this electrical socket previously installed. The usb-c ports in this socket work great and are a lot smaller and nicer looking that the old school usb-a type port, but we have a lot of devices that still require the usb-a port too so we did keep that ability.

I bought this to replace an outlet, so I can charge a 65W laptop directly without 2-piece laptop charger. I bought 240W long USB-C cable from Lisen, and it works fine to charge the laptop just fine.
