Die Halter sind selbstklebend, magnetisch ist der Verschluss für die Kabel.Da ich sie gerne mit Magnet an eine Stahlwand klicken möchte, klebe ich sie auf Magnete, dann passt es.

I feel less motivated to read other chess strategies books after I started reading this book.Obviously I am not aiming to play like AlphaZero. Just like when I read books by chess masters I know my limitation and can't play like them. But it doesn't mean I can't learn anything from their games. And it is certainly useful to learn about what AlphaZero found to be probabilistically the best strategies.Since I have a background in math and science, the parts about AlphaZero's development and machinery are also interesting to me.

I have played chess on and off for most of my life. I have always been fascinated by the way computers or AI play chess. You can see the difference in gameplay by a machine versus a human player and that has always peaked my interest. After Garry Kasparov lost to Deep Blue the days of computers competing against humans ended and thus began the world computer championships and Top Chess Engine Championships (TCEC) where the opponent of AlphaZero, Stockfish, was champion. What interested me was how they setup AlphaZero to learn chess. They did not provide it with a massive database of openings, middlegames, endgames and played out matches of the last 100+ years but instead had it play out millions of lighting fast games on it's own to work out it's own optimal way to play. The end result was a system that had a different outlook on the game of chess than the other computer programs had and this is apparent in this book when you read through and, as I did, play through the games. The author, a chess Grand Master, Matthew Sadler does a spectacular job diving in to the play of AlphaZero and even noting where positions appear to be much more favorable to Alpha Zero as opposed to the other chess engines he was using to aid in his analysis. AlphaZero generally always being correct.I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in AI and where it might be heading as this is a great example given how the team that created AlphaZero (the same team, headed by Demis Hassabis, that created AlphaGo, a program that defeated the top Go player in the world) shows that starting from the very basics of a situation, in this case a simple game where the program is fed the rules and end goal, to capture the opponents King, and nothing else, it can derive a way of playing that is in many ways superior to other AI that is fed an overload of existing information. From a chess playing view I can say you will learn some new and different ideas that you will definitely need to have a good understanding of chess to be able to use and work effectively. In conclusion, I will say the authors did an excellent job putting this work together, analysing the games and information provided. 5 stars all around!

I purchased the smofish Cord Organizer Holder 12 pack for my parents. While at their house I noticed their cell phone charging cords laying on the ground. We attached one smofish clip to the back of a speaker and the other to the top of a glass table. No longer do my parents have to bend down to pick up their cell phone charging cord now that the cord stays up where they can easily reach it. The magnets that keep the clip closed work well which was a consideration as we wanted a clip that held tight. We have not removed either of the clips so I can not review removal. So far I recommend this product since it fulfills its purpose.

This is a great book for chess lovers. It is very structured and written, and examines a number of games between the new learning AI chess engine Alpha-Zero by Google, against the reigning world-champion chess engine Stockfish. What is most striking is how human-like and intuitive Alpha-zero plays, like a Kasparov on steroids, and the authors really draws this out with great examples. It has already become one of my favourite chess books!
