Admittedly I bought this for a costume and not as an actual raincoat, but it's super thick and cozy to wear! The hood is detachable, which is convenient, and it will certainly keep you warm in a cold rain. I think I ordered mine a size too big, but it's still comfortable oversized.

I'm so happy with my new raincoat. Fits well, though I had to roll up the sleeves a bit. I had to shop a long time to find the color and length that suits me.
