Brought this on a marine biology trip and it held up well. I tested it and the ink initially ran and the paper got soft, but the writing was still very much visible and legible, and the page dried well and didn't tear. Ink needs a little extra time to dry without smudging, but overall this is a very good waterproof notebook.

I work in a restaurant where I have to keep my recipes on hand at all times. This book is perfect if you cook a lot because if I spill food on it, I can use a wet cloth to get spills off without ruining the paper or wiping off the pen writing! This was much needed for me

Don’t use liquid ink on these it will spread across the paper you entertainingly, fuzzy letters and numbers other than that this thing is really cool. I love it. Just so you know, they recommend gel pens for this notebook.

Not impressed with this notebook and couldn’t put a pen in the binding it did fit in the Bible case I will see if is great for note taking!

I use Sharpie pens at the moment. The ink takes forever to dry, leading to smears if not patient. I wrote something before starting this review and I can still see wet ink at an angle in the light. Probably won't happen with a more standard roller pen, and surely not a pencil. Paper texture is indeed very satisfying though. Worth it, but figured people should know.
