These sandals are lightweight with a flexible sole. There are plenty of straps that are adjustable with Velcro, which depending on your view can either be a good thing or a bad thing. It’s a lot for a younger kiddo to manage. I told my son to just use 1 strap to take these off, but he just couldn’t resist pulling all of them; it gets a little fiddly. These are a bit on the clunky side, but the front bumper toe is a nice feature. These have a roomier fit than expected, but it’ll give him room for growth. These will do the job!

These are petty sturdy sandals. I ordered a size up since my favorite 5 year old is still growing. They will be just right for summer. They look like they will be easy to wash to keep out the odor.

The quality, at first glance, seems excellent. The materials feel durable, the straps are nicely sewn and appear strong, and the overall construction looks like it would hold up well to active kids. My previous pair of sandals for my 5-year-old broke at the strap, so I was specifically looking for something robust. These looked like they fit the bill.However, the sizing is completely, ridiculously off. I ordered a size 11, which is my son's consistent size across multiple types of footwear. He wears size 11 shoes, size 11 soccer cleats, and even size 11 rental skates when we go to the rink. I'm 100% certain of his current size.When these sandals arrived, they looked HUGE. I genuinely thought they had sent the wrong size. I checked the label inside the shoe, and it did say 11, but they look like flippers on him. They're easily a full size, maybe even two sizes, too large. It's not just a little bit of extra room; they're comically oversized.To give you a better idea: I even compared them to my daughter's size 12 shoes, and these size 11 sandals were slightly larger than even size 12. That's how far off the sizing is.Please see the review photos I've attached. I've included pictures comparing these sandals to my son's regular size 11 shoes, so you can see the dramatic difference for yourself. I can't stress enough how large these are for a "little kid 11.

The sizing is waaay OFF on these. I bought a child size 13 and it’s more like a size 2.

These are nicely made sandals. The only problem is that they ruin very large. You need to order a size down from normal. We kept the large pair for next year and ordered the size down for this year.
