I bought these for a performer with very thick calves since I couldn't fit her in boots. These boot covers came quickly and looked very nice, but they were not big enough to fit around her calves. I did a bit of adapting and got them to fit, but then had the problem of them crumpling down around her ankles. I added some boning to them and they work just fine. All in all, a nice looking solution to my problem, but I would not say they are large enough to be listed as "up to XXL".

Nice that these are adjustable unlike several other pirate boot covers here on amazon. They also look and feel like suede leather instead of the cheap plastic vinyl ones others offer. Good bang for the buck.

2 of the buckles broke before I even could get out of the house. I should have tried them on when I got them. Its been to long to return them.
